Tantalo
Our go to in Casco Viejo, Tantalo is one of the first rooftop bars to emerge in the old town scene. What we love about this location is the incredible view of the new city across town, the bohemian vibe and decorations coupled with some amazing tropical mojitos. Definitely recommend the maracuya (passion fruit) mojito. Pair this with some lobster mac & cheese and you’re set to get the night started. With live DJs weekly and a little VIP section, Highlife Panama will regularly be spotted taking over the Grey Goose VIP. Located on Ave B & Calle 8a Este, Casco Viejo.
Salvaje
The newest rooftop spot to join the old town scene, Salvaje is an intimate location where you can get cozy. With a small pool in the center you can be sure to get wild. The perfect Casco spot if you’re wanting a private rooftop party in the old town district.

Casa Casco
In the middle of Plaza Herrera in Casco Viejo, this champagne bar rooftop location is a great starting point to your night. With a variety of restaurants inside the building, you’re able to order up from any of them. About once a month, they host a Champagne Super Soaker event where you get drunk and sticky spraying each down. Just below the rooftop is a nightclub you can venture into after taking in the sights up top. Located at Ave A & Calle 10B Oeste, Casco Viejo.
The Roof
In the heart of the city, within the El Cangrejo neighborhood you’ll find The Roof. Center city, this spot is a cool design and a great spot to check out on Thursdays. Located on Calle Gasper O. Hernandez & Via Argentina, top floor of the Best Western Hotel.

Atop the Occidental Hotel in the financial district, the 1400 rooftop boasts a gastrobar hip experience with an excellent happy hour. Not so much spectacular views as a center city rooftop location, predominantly indoors. More of a club than a bar, DJs are set up weekly and the ladies night on Thursday is insane. Located on Ave Samuel Lewis & Ave Ricardo Arango, Obarrio.
Panaviera
The highest bar in Central America, the Panaviera was recently reopened on the 66th floor of the Grand Bahia tower (formerly Trump Tower). This pool bar is the spot to look out over the city and watch the best sunset in Panama. The rooftop opens at 6pm is a must if you’re looking for spectacular views while enjoying a cocktail. Located on Calle Punta Chiriqui, Trump Ocean Club, Punta Pacifica.

BITS
Located on the 62nd floor of the Hard Rock hotel in the center of the city this rooftop bar & club gives you nearly 360 degree views of the city. Decked out in Hard Rock fashion, you’ll feel like a Rockstar partying in the clouds. With a $20 cover to get through the door you’ll be dropping some coin to party here, but with Highlife you gotta pay to play.
