Resistance by ULTRA - Panama City 2019

Resistance Panama City

Once again Resistance return’s to Panama City, Panama this coming Saturday October 12th @Bling in The Hard R ock Hotel. Ultra Worldwide Productions pulling in big name Headline DJ’s again like Sasha & Art Department means this is not to be missed. It all kicks off this Saturday night 10pm in Bling followed by a Sunday pool party from 10am @Float in The Hard Rock and up to the 62nd floor Bits from 7pm to close out Sunday night. As well as top name international DJ’s there is some up and coming local Panamanian talent warming up the decks with the likes of Abbound B2B with Miguelle, CID B2B with Ely Lopez, Duo Keene and Leo Perez all warming up to Art Department and Sasha.

Sasha - is one of my long time favorite DJ’s always progressing and developing over his 20+ year career, it all started for him back in the late 80’s early 90’s when he partnered up with John Digweed in 1993 touring internationally and producing a series of mix albums.

Art Department - The infamous electronic music act, has seen almost unparalleled success within the world of dance music in recent years. Canadian Jonny White acting head of No. 19 Music, is now the lone force behind the influential project. The prolific producer’s original style landed Art Department at the forefront of a major underground music movement, transcending genre barriers and breaking down walls as few other underground artists have. Their game-changing contribution to electronic music has been undeniable, garnering accolades such as #1 Track of the Year at the Beatport Awards in 2011, the iTunes #2 Best Electronic Album of 2011, hailed as the “hottest duo in dance music” from media outlets such as DJ Mag, awarded the 2010 “Track of the Year” for their breakout hit “Without You” by long standing authorities like Resident Advisor (UK), Groove Mag (Germany), and #2 in Mixmag (US), and voted #6 Top Dj’s in the world in 2012. The duo have also graced the covers of DJ Mag Canada, Now Magazine, DJ Times, Raveline Magazine and have been widely featured in the press, including The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Nylon and Vibe Magazine who ranked them #2 DJ/Producers in the world in 2013 (second only to Daft Punk), firmly establishing them as a rarity in the world of electronic music.
